LET'S WORK TOGETHER

As we enrich our children’s education with essential skills like reading, writing, and math, it’s crucial to empower them with knowledge about self-protection and self-worth. One way of doing this is by teaching children that their bodies are to be honored and respected, while simultaneously empowering them to speak up when they have been abused. By introducing these concepts early in a child-friendly context, we aim to provide our children with the foundation they need to grow into confident, respectful and self-aware individuals.
This is where we come in to partner with you. Tanja Brann, the author of the best-selling book ‘I Am Valuable,’ has dedicated her time to doing in-person book readings. Through the adventures of Liam and Sophia, children not only enjoy the story but also learn to understand and assert their boundaries. This story gently teaches the importance of respecting private parts while reminding children of their inherent worth.
Here is what you can expect from a typical book reading:
- The average duration of a book reading is around 30 minutes depending on your allotted time.
- The typical format of the event includes a meet and greet with the children, the book reading itself, a question and answer session, and a book signing.
- We recommend advertising the book reading event a few weeks in advance to ensure maximum participation. To assist with this, we will provide you with a promotional graphic that can be distributed among the children. This graphic will include a coupon offering a discount on the purchase of the book.
